Following the success of the Pathfinder Trade Mission to Kurdistan earlier this year, Pathfinder Trade and Invest invites you to join its September high level Trade and Investment Mission to Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan.
The programme will include an important round table discussion with the Erbil Chamber business members, meetings with Government Ministers and Ministries as well as complimentary passes for delegates to attend the 2nd Erbil Oil & Gas Exhibition: www.erbiloilgas.com
This important trade mission will be multi-sector and focus on the fast developing economy of Iraqi Kurdistan, which is growing at a phenomenal rate, estimated to be at around 9% per annum. Companies involved in, but not limited to the following sectors are especially invited to participate:-

- Education and training
- Construction and infrastructure
- Retail sales
- Healthcare
- Telecommunications and IT
- Environment and water
- Agriculture
- Finance and legal services
- Hotels and tourism
Mission Leader, Michael Thomas was responsible for taking the first high level trade mission to Iraqi Kurdistan six years ago and is a regular visitor, well known to members of the Kurdistan Government and Industry.
Kurdistan is receiving huge amounts of local and foreign direct investment currently from the UAE, Kuwait, Turkey and some EU countries. Investments range from oil and gas related to new five star hotels, schools, hospitals and massive infrastructure projects, including a huge well stocked Carrefour warehouse.
The region is seen as peaceful and stable, a major reason for the attraction of FDI. Because of the stable situation in Kurdistan the region is fast becoming a gateway for trade and investment with the whole of Iraq.
This trade mission will be based in Erbil and delegates will be free to dip in and out of the programme to enable them to pursue their own contacts. The centres of Dohuk and Sulaimaniyah are within easy reach.
