South Africa & Mauritius May 20th - 9th April 2005

Day 1, Day 2
Upon arrival at Johannesburg Airport from the BA 57 arriving at 0855 hours on Monday 21st March please connect with your flight to Port Elizabeth departing Johannesburg Airport with South Africa Airways on the SA 411 arriving Port Elizabeth at 1200 hours.

Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6

Upon arrival at Port Elizabeth Airport you will be meet by our CC Africa representative who will provide you with your personlised travel journal and welcome pack, you will then be introduced to your personal Theta registered guide, who will transfer you by luxury microbus to Plettenberg Beach House, for a five night duration. Your guide is available to take you on demand to any places you may wish to visit during the day or evening, please liaise directly with him, he will also suggest to you places that you may wish to consider, if asked.


Day 7, Day 8, Day 9

Your personal guide will take you to George Airport, where you will bid him farewell and proceed to check in for the flight to Johannesburg, flight CE 537 departing at 1005 hours arrival 1155 hours.
On arrival in Johannesburg proceed to the Federal Air counter for your air transfer to Ngala Private Game Reserve, time to be confirmed with your guide.

Three nights at Ngala Main Lodge on a full board basis including three meals, all house wines and local branded spirits, two game drives daily, teas, coffees, cakes, laundry, Emergency Medical Evacuation Insurance.

Your safaris will take place in a Private Safari Vehicle with your private ranger and tracker for the duration of your stay at Ngala.

 

Day 10
Today you will be transferred to the Ngala Airstrip to be in time for your air transfer to the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport. Flight times to be confirmed with your ranger. On arrival at the KMI Airport a Jatinga representative will meet you. The representative will hand over your travel documents and transfer you to Jatinga Country House, where your accommodation has been booked on a bed and breakfast basis, for a two night duration.

Day 11
This morning an Mfafa Safaris Representative will meet you for your full day private Panorama Eastern Drakensberg Escarpment Tour. This tour includes entrance fees, bottled water & lunch.

Day 12
Today you will be transferred by road to the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport to connect with your onward flight to Johannesburg and connection to Livingstone;

Depart Mpumalanga SA 8121 Economy Class 07.50 arrive Johannesburg 08.35

Depart Johannesburg CE 202 Economy Class 11.20 arrive Livingstone 12.55

Upon arrival at the Livingstone Airport, you will be met by an English-speaking CC Africa Safaris & Tours representative and transferred by private road transfer to The Royal Livingstone Hotel, for a 3 night duration.

Afternoon at leisure to explore the falls or relax.

Day 13

Morning at leisure.

1500 hours A 12-minute Helicopter flight will take you over the falls and the Zambezi River.

Sunset Cruise (not private) - Leave from the Royal Livingstone reception at 16.00. The cruise lasts for 2 hours and guests should be back at the Day Activity Centre at about 19.00. All cruises include National Park fees, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks and transfers to and from the Day Activity Centre.

Day 14
Morning at leisure
1.30 lunch, followed by an afternoon of private tours:
Chief Mukuni's Village, Livingstone Town, and David-Livingstone-Museum
Tours last for 2 hours. Tours includes the services of a guide and bottled water.

Day 15
You are collected and transferred by scheduled private road transfer to Livingstone Airport for your onward flight to Johannesburg;
Depart Livingstone CE 205 14.35 arrive Johannesburg 16.15. On arrival at the Johannesburg Airport make your own way to the nearby Airport Sun Inter-Continental Hotel where you will overnight..

Day 16, Day 17, Day 18, Day 19, Day 20

Proceed to Johannesburg Airport this morning and check in for your onward flight to Mauritius;
Depart Johannesburg SA 190 Economy or Business Class 09.35 arrive Mauritius 15.35


Transfer to the Royal Palm, 5 Star Deluxe Hotel for a five night duration on a bed and breakfast basis including some free land and water sports.

Day 21
Today you will be transferred to the Mauritius Airport by private transfer to connect with your return flight to London;

Depart Mauritius BA 122 Business Class 08.55 Arrive Heathrow 15.35

  • For regional or international flights departing to and from South Africa and internally, the check-in is two hours prior to departure. Please make your sure you are aware of this as late check-in may result in their reservation being cancelled

Clients of CC Africa (our agents in Southern Africa not Mauritius are automatically covered for all expenses relating to emergency evacuation in the event of an accident or illness at any location forming part of their itinerary booked through CC Africa. This cover guarantees admission to a suitable hospital or clinic as nominated by Europ Assistance. Our insurer liability ceases upon admission to hospital or clinic. Clients must therefore still hold their own medical insurance to cover all expenses after admission. Please contact us should further information be required

Zambia :
Effective immediately, all guests staying at either the Royal Livingstone Hotel or the will have to pay a mandatory 8% Zambian Government Service Levy on accommodation, food and beverages, this levy is part of the bed and breakfast rate that has been booked with CC Africa. All guests must pay the 8% service levy on their extras bill at time of check out, for any services over and above those on our voucher. Due to the enforcement of the service levy, guests are not expected to pay any additional gratuities.

Fedral Air Notes (for flights to and from Ngala):
On check in, Federal Air will transfer guests to the Federal Air lounge, where refreshments will be available. Refreshments and snacks will also be available on the flights.

The Lounge has shower facilities, a refreshment station as well as TV's and magazines for the clients to use while they wait for their "bush flight". Guests will also be able to utilize the lounge on their return from the bush while they wait for the departure of their International flights.

The baggage allowance on the aircraft will be one standard piece of hand luggage (max 5kg’s) and one piece of standard checked-in carry baggage (max 20kg's). Soft Bags are requested.

A Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft will be used for the flights. The Caravan is able to carry 12 passengers and two crew members. All the Cessna Caravan’s used are single-engine aircrafts.

The flight takes approximately 1-½ hours. These flights are shuttle flights and may stop over at other lodges. The Plane will stop off first at the Lodge with the most arrivals.
